Education is the key to success, and seeking knowledge, both personally and professionally, is a notable aspiration for us all. No stranger to notable aspirations, Fine Hygienic Holding (FHH) – one of the world’s leading manufacturers of hygienic paper products, is proud to announce that one of its employees, Lu’ay Samara, has recently won the “Supply Chain Nashmi” award from Muhakat, a supply chain management consultation and education service.
This award is dedicated to the highest scoring supply chain professionals of the APICS exam in the Middle East, and Samara, who is a supply chain manager at Fine, earned an outstanding score of 320 out of 350 on the test. Such certifications are not only beneficial for individuals, but for their companies, which can utilize such advanced training to effectively streamline supply chain activities in order to increase customer satisfaction and help keep product prices low.
Commenting on the occasion, James Michael Lafferty, CEO of FHH said: “When one of us shines it makes the whole company stronger, and we are proud to have Lu’ay as a part of our team. Supply chain management is a critical part of FHH’s business and a crucial aspect of company growth. It is important to be up to date with the latest technologies and processes in all areas of business, which is why Fine is happy to support employees getting regular certifications, accreditations, and advanced industry training.”
This newest designation will be added to Samara’s growing list of achievements, which include a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and a master’s degree in operations management, both from the University of Jordan.
